Eden Hearing uses the latest techniques for safe and painless ear wax removal.
We offer both Micro-suction and Irrigation (syringing).
Every person we see is different as are their needs and this is why Eden Hearing are fully trained in multiple techniques of ear wax removal.
Micro-suction is our most commonly used procedure as it is cleaner and more efficient. It is also said to be more comfortable than irrigation. The main benefits of Micro-suction are that it is quick. There is no need to put olive oil or sodium bicarbonate ear drops in your ears for 2-4 days before your appointment (although we do recommend you use olive oil ear spray for at least one day before your appointment as this will aid the removal process.) Micro-suction is typically a quicker procedure than irrigation (syringing). It is also the only solution for people with known middle ear conditions or known perforations.
Prices are £45 for one ear and £65 for both.
Irrigation (syringing) is an option that we still use and can be more effective than Micro-suction in certain circumstances. Preparation is key to successful wax removal and olive oil or sodium bicarbonate ear drops should be used for approx 2-4 days before removal. If you are aware of any middle ear conditions or have a known perforation irrigation will not be an option.
A home visit charge will apply, based on location and traveling time.
